Is it possible to make the carriers respawn after they are sunken? I have tried that:

This doesn't work. Any help?

Actually, the whole purpose of Coral Sea is to sink the carriers, it's like an Objective based map.

You probably just want to dogfight till the tickets run out or something? Try setting the Min/Max spawn delay to .01, maybe that would help.
Dnamro
The soldier spawns are tied to the carriers, as soon as one of the carriers is gone, the map ends because the Soldiers have no where to spawn. To have the map continue add some more ships or control points with Soldier spawners.

Yes, that is exactly what I want to do.

Also, Dnamro, how would I do that without using BC42?

And, one more thing: The carriers go down too easily. They take all of 10 hits and they're dead. How do I edit this so that they can withstand a lot.

Also, remember that this is the FH Coral Sea, so it has two carriers per side.

Pfft! What was I thinking, Carriers don't respawn in Coral Sea. rolleyes.gif Altering respawn values won't have any effect, because it doesn't happen.

Probably the easiest way to increase gameplay time without using BC is to increase the armor strength of the carriers. I've never done this, so anyone out there savvy on where the armor settings are for vehicles?

These carriers are static, and I think there might be different versions of carriers (mobile, static) that you can edit. Be sure you edit the correct one.

Yep MCR ... just add the carrier templates to the map and increase the amount of damage it can take.

I always thought it would be cool to have a Coral Sea that was a cross between the gameplay of the vanilla version (pretty much pure dogfighting/air-to-naval assault) and Midway, which had the potential, at least, to be a full-on naval battlegroup showdown.

Maybe something like this -- take the plain-old HUGEST map you can possibly do (Think "Historic Omaha Beach" size, if anyone's seen and remembers that behemoth of a map) and make it ALL ocean, with like 1 carrier, 2 battleships and 3 destroyers per side.

That would seem like an edited version of FH's Rheinuebung, except with US vs. Japan.

I guess I could try it.
