um i need help exporting the AC-130 into a Singleplayer mod and ummm heh i dont no how to do it

Ensure that you read through them completely before posting again. Be aware that porting items from one mod to another can be tedious as you track down the issues. Every mod is a little different, so you may be required to add additional textures, HUD's etc.

Make sure you read through tutorials, and then when you encounter an issue post your problem clearly. With pictures if possible. Makes it much easier for us all to point you in the right direction.

there is a thread around somewhere about porting the ac130.

if you do not know how you will never succeed. it took me about 4 1/2 hours to track down every last stinking hud and texture and who knows what else.

hey bud, im not here to stifle your work, but i think you should head on over to desert-conflict.org and just ask permission before doing this, i know 3-5 people including myself(DCON DEVS) who worked long and hard to perfect that thing! just a way to be polite, we are not hard to get alone with, the DCONSP mod has our permission to do there working, and i have even assisted them in there work! but please get the respective o.k. before doing so, thanks bud...

I havent stolen anything from your pr mod, i simply dispute the "rights" you have to decide devinely who is allowed to run a gameserver!

Secondly i felt the need to help people with serverside modding of there "locked down like fort knox" PR servers. a person running a gameserver
decides what he/she want to play, not people who created a mod that would be good if its makers didnt have god complexes.

I will never forget what i witnessed YOUR DEVS doing on the CDU clan forums, threatening lawsuit after lawsuit and then a step past that when they changed there spawn timers and a few other trivial things! sorry when people like them do these kind of things and think it SOMEHOW helps the community, there is something very wrong with this picture!

AND NOW they have stepped over the line again, today i recieved 2 phone calls from PR devs, 1 i answered and the voice of a 12-13 year old whispering asked me:
So you think you can mess with project reality?
i replied, Exuse me?
he says,
now your gonna see what happens!
and then he hung up! the return number was blocked, but my cell carrier has pulled up the file and is waiting for my ok to pass it and the voicemail i also recieved to the proper authorities!

thats because the second call, or rather voicemail involved a threat against me! That does not fly! They want to threaten my ISP, my hosting company, and me personally! uh NO!

Yet again a fine shiny example of there community skills at work! "When someone steps off the path we have set fourth, attack them profusely!" problem is i didnt cower like a good little sheep, nobody threatens me, especially over a durn game!

Sorry to the admins here, i have dragged this a bit off topic so, just providing the whole truth on the PR issue at hand!
BACK ON TOPIC:

The PR issue bears no mention to this, im not out to steal there content, i have no desire to do so! And im not telling you that you cant use the ac-130, i just know that doorstop and gaverty, the modelling team, may like to have a say! and who knows, dcon endorsed, assisted, and supported the dcon_sp project, after the vote was approved I streamlined there server files and provided a 1500K/s download mirror! you may get the same welcome! i cant promise it, but it will get a vote by the devs, and i personally dont see the harm in it, but its not my model! and i dont speak for all dcon devs!

MasterX nowhere in this thread does WarHammer087 say he wants to redistribute a modified AC130 back to the public, he most likly just wants to put it in another SP mod on his own computer, what someone does on there own computer is there own business and doesn't require permission from anyone. if he does plan on putting it into a mod to be uploaded for the public then he will require permission but until he states that please don't jump to conclusions and say he can't use it.


Also please don't bring your issue with PR into BFSP, it has nothing to do with this site or anyone here.

Warhammer087 can do what he likes on his pc, & bfsp is the place where these kind of questions can be asked.

i never said he couldnt use it, i said he should ask permission, and if its on his local machine i have no beefs, i just assumed he would want to share his hard work and get some help as well, hence the info i posted above,

trust me i agree what you do on your local machine is noones durn buisness...

and to SATNAV, i didnt bring up the PR issue, DerRelienT did, and i defended myself to his statements, it was not my intention to bring it up here period. thank him not me
