common/material/materialmanagerdefine.con, common/material/materialmanagersettings.con

what do you mean by "hardness"?

short answer, no. long answer, yes, but not with out being very lost and extremely confused.

you could edit it with notepad. i strongly suggest you use the material editor though!

Increase armor resistance

Maybe I say what I want to do
I increased damage in tank cannon projectile to 1000
and I want to do following armor resistance

1: Rear (inta-kill smile.gif) -done
2: sides (survive 1-hit but with low health second shot=kill) -done
3: front (survive 2 shots third is kill) work on it currently uhm.gif
reached effect what survives 2 shots but then auto-blast

what template change armor resistance for damage ?
Fromage
In the materialmanagersettings.con

MaterialManager.createCell 3743 30
MaterialManager.damageMod 0.3
MaterialManager.setEffectTemplate 0 e_mExp_m_armor
MaterialManager.setEffectTemplate 1 e_bhit_tankshell_ricochet
MaterialManager.setSoundTemplate 0 S_Tank_Shell_Metal

The bolded text tells you the percent of damage the material does. So at 0.3(30%), your projectile that does 1000 damage will do 300 damage.

If your not using the material editor thing like me, the find function on notepad helps alot.

30 is the cell material number the 3743 is a custom material id since its not a standard material. you match up the cell material id to the material number in materialManagerDefine.con which says what the material is called.

so 30 is material what receive damage and 3743 is projectile material
