Hello,

I've recently started experimenting with different bundledmeshes in bf2 and Max 9 doesnt export correctly the .con file of the handguns.
When I export a weapon the .con file looks like this:

CODE
GeometryTemplate.create BundledMesh usrif_m24

ObjectTemplate.create SimpleObject usrif_m24
ObjectTemplate.saveInSeparateFile 1
ObjectTemplate.creator
ObjectTemplate.geometry usrif_m24

ObjectTemplate.create SimpleObject 2
ObjectTemplate.geometryPart 1

ObjectTemplate.create SimpleObject 3
ObjectTemplate.geometryPart 2

ObjectTemplate.create SimpleObject 4
ObjectTemplate.geometryPart 3

ObjectTemplate.create SimpleObject 5
ObjectTemplate.geometryPart 4

ObjectTemplate.create SimpleObject 6
ObjectTemplate.geometryPart 5

ObjectTemplate.create GenericFireArm usrif_m24
ObjectTemplate.geometryPart 6

include usrif_m24.tweak

Here is the original:
CODE
GeometryTemplate.create BundledMesh usrif_m24
CollisionManager.createTemplate usrif_m24

ObjectTemplate.create GenericFireArm usrif_m24
ObjectTemplate.saveInSeparateFile 1
ObjectTemplate.creator JSA-1:jsa
ObjectTemplate.collisionMesh usrif_m24
ObjectTemplate.mapMaterial 0 Collision_Material 0
ObjectTemplate.hasCollisionPhysics 1
ObjectTemplate.physicsType 3
ObjectTemplate.geometry usrif_m24

include usrif_m24.tweak

Any idea how to fix it?

Thanks

What does your hierarchy and naming look like? Should be something like this, where the body of the gun is named __HandFireArm and all the parts are linked to it counting up from 1.

Your tree probably looks bigger, since I take a few shortcuts with my models.

Thanks for the info M.Combat.

Thats right, some of the parts weren't linked to the mesh, they were just kinda floating around.

My models works fine now, thanks a lot!
