So, here my improved battlehawk - I added CROWS to DCON battlehawk. Can all be done by notepad only laugh.gif ,

I still need a nice woodland skin for the aircraft but google was no help (only black skin available) - any ideas?
If somebody has got another idea in terms of adding a more realistic gun turret to that baby, youīre highly welcome to share (or if thereīs a mod already which has it all wink.gif )

Okay, I know thereīs the battlehawk in AIX2 which has a gun turret but since I canīt change its config to one pylon with hellfire missiles (itīs hydras only), I prefer to stay with the DCON battlehawk..

And the NAW battlehawk doesnīt have a turret at all, so itīs not easy to get the config that I want (which is on the picture above tongue.gif )
But still, AIX2 has an awesome battlehawk, no question about that laugh.gif

what exactly are you after, i *should* still have the .max file for the wings/pylons off the AIX2 Battlehawk, and can remove the Hydra tubes and put a few lugs there instead if you like

Hey Clive,
very pleased to hear that laugh.gif ! That would be very awesome! The outer Hydra pods should stay where they are, but the inner hydra pods should be removed and replaced by hellfire rail sets (each hellfire rail set can carry 4 hellfires). All pylons should be untouched, theyīre fine...
If thatīs too much work, simply remove the inner Hydra pods please, I should find some hellfire rail sets elsewhere tongue.gif
In the end, the config should look like the real life picture above.

Iīm making some progress though on creating an operational belly turret, using the HUMMWVV CROWS as described above laugh.gif !
I completed step 1 which means: I flipped it 180 degrees and adjusted everything else - and the AI is still working! laugh.gif , (see attachments)
Since I only got notepad, Iīm really grateful for that awesome CROWS stuff - it seems that I can build an operational (AI driven) helo turret out of it..- next step will be its position adjustment below the heloīs belly laugh.gif

I decided since you had more feedback and pics in *this* thread I deleted your original one (since this is a duplicate thread).

If you have trouble finding your own threads, check your profile as it keeps links for what you created there. Thanks. smile.gif

Allrighty, will be done tongue.gif ! Okay, that was it - Iīm finally done:
As you guys can see on the pics, the HUMMVEE CROWS operator in the copilot seat fires like a true sportsman laugh.gif and the position is correct now. Iīd say the show can begin wink.gif
(I still had to switch off the collision mesh of the CROWS stuff though - otherwise it might result in harsh landings tongue.gif ...)
As you can see, the copilot grabs the CROWS operating joystick, not the heloīs cyclic (I put the operating joystick very close to the cyclic, not easy to see the difference)
For a new skin, I will check this page of an awesome forum wink.gif :

Oh man, this one looks phantastic, too! Is it from PR mod? Is the gun turret movable/moved by AI?I just improved the battlehawk with another gun (PKBM looks better in that CROWS system) and with tan skin - I even gave a new trajectory to my hellfire rockets (thanks to SatNav`s Javelin):

it looks like this when simply stuck onto vanilla UH-60. the racks are from the Cobra. unlike the AIX Battlehawk, these wings have collision meshes and all that that entails

hey you know you have to remove the side minis, yes? apparently it's not good to be firing lots of shells into explosive warheads a mere 4 feet away from your face
