Canīt get rid of second cupola machine gun, Cupola implemented from other vehicle causes double MG

Hi guys, who could help me with this? Everytime I add the Tank type_T98 cupola stuff to another vehicle, it works fine, except that I have 2 machine guns right beside each other (like a double pack). No matter what I do (deleting all Object.templates of machine guns I can find in the vehicleīs tweak file) the error still persists. The vehicle is working, also one of the guns, but there is still that second machine gun right beside the other one of the cupola.Perhaps some of you guys experienced the same problem and remember what they did...Thanks for your help blink.gif huh.gif uhm.gif dunno.gif headscratch.gif

Ah, okay, no one? Buehler? Doesnīt matter. I helped myself. Thanks to clivewil (clive, thanks a lot, man!) I found out that there was still a double creation of the Cupola and its children.

Existing stuff in the con file:


ObjectTemplate.create PlayerControlObject TNK_Type98_CupolaBase
ObjectTemplate.hasMobilePhysics 1
ObjectTemplate.addTemplate TNK_Type98_Cupola

ObjectTemplate.create RotationalBundle TNK_Type98_Cupola
ObjectTemplate.hasCollisionPhysics 1
ObjectTemplate.physicsType 3
ObjectTemplate.hasMobilePhysics 1



Additionally existing stuff in the tweak file:

ObjectTemplate.activeSafe PlayerControlObject TNK_Type98_CupolaBase
ObjectTemplate.modifiedByUser "armandoma"
ObjectTemplate.setNetworkableInfo BasicInfo
and so on...

ObjectTemplate.activeSafe RotationalBundle TNK_Type98_Cupola
ObjectTemplate.modifiedByUser "armandoma"
ObjectTemplate.setNetworkableInfo BasicInfo
and so on...


The creation of the cupola and its children in the con file was unnecessary since the T98 is loaded anyways as a bf2 stock vehicle.
So, only the "activeSafe" stuff in the tweak file is necessary (be aware still to delete all little machine guns in the vehicleīs tweak file)
I had to delete the T98 cupola stuff (shown above) in the con file. Thereafter, finally only one machine gun left smile.gif
