Found this off a YouTube link. It has a crapload of BF3 stuff ported into a BF2 mod. Even included BF4 and Bf3 soldiers.

Link to mod is in the comments from 1 year ago. Comment started by Emilio Mau.

thats because the guy share it only via gmail and google drive. i tried V2 and it is a pretty big mod (over 10GB) but it is more a private mod, it includes also stuff from project reality, POE etc like the german vehicles from POE and stuff. and all maps are edited maps from other mods (AIX, PR, POE etc) + some community maps. this is why he do not post the download in public.

also, it is over 10GB but half of it is not even needed because alot of maps does not work due to CTD and ive looked into the objects_client, menu_client etc and there are alot of files, which is not even used ingame and which increases filesize for nothing.

The mod needs a good PC because it uses all the high poly stuff from BF3/4 + HQ effects from Project reality + Large viewdistance and it lagged pretty hard on my notebook, it was unplayable. Even PR runs better than this mod.

From what i know, is that the guy wants to turn his private mod into a pure Bf3/4 conversion for bf2, which will lead to removal of all the POE, AIX etc content which means you will have less content and probably have only BF3/4 content, which is pointless IMO because if i wanna play with BF3/4 content, i just buy bf3/4 and play the content on a better engine instead of a conversion for a old buggy engine where the content looks less good and runs poorly with its high polycount.

Which is understandable and proper. Most BF2 mods are dead and authors indifferent to borrowing content, but PR is still active and probably wouldn't want that happening and that should be respected.

For personal modding high quality content can be a treasure trove of toys. Buggy as BF2 is it's still a great game and can be playable if modded right.

I agree on the part of a pure BF3/4 conversion, it's not worth the effort and I'd also recommend to just go buy copies of BF3/4. Which I have, but I enjoy BF2 much better. cool.gif Nothing like crafting your copy of a game into your 'personalized' copy of a game, as one can make a moddable game to play as one prefers.

expect that some of the stuff will be removed due to a member named Devilman. He report BF2 mods and addons that contain ported and/or stolen stuff (which is understandable, but he also report mods that has permission to use other stuff and that is a no-go, since his AIX minimod contain USI stuff).

Just a heads up more content released in the addons section at Moddb.

http://www.moddb.com/games/battlefield-2/addons

@ sgtsev3n

Thanks for being kind enough to share but due to the nature of Armored Kill it's best to be kept private (for previous mentioned reasons). If you want to share your copy, it will need to be via Personal message or other private resource.

Found this on the PR thread. Looks like some textures and mesh work for some weapons for the SP crowd lovers of PR:

and the link.
