Just found this mod. It has one map, Verdun, which has singleplayer. It's infantry only, but the infantry is fairly well developed. The map conversion was well redone, besides from the map briefing.

Its great fun.

While playing there were only a couple of issues: the flags are still triangle shaped instead of square; the weapons icons still use BF2142 icons.

Too bad the mod died a couple of years ago. It was shaping up nicely. There are pics of tanks and a map that they were working on. It was really nice to see modern weapons with the BF2142 engine.

I remember I tried out this mod and that was quite fun. Shame it's dead now.

Oh yeah I forgot to try that mod out, it was on my todo list for quite some time. it looks pretty, but too bad most mod groups for 2142 dried up some time ago.

I cannot run TZ because of rendDX9.dll error?
Is this because I'm running nvidia now not ati?

2142 runs fine as does a different mod (her)
but cannot get TZ to run again??????
if I do manage to actually boot the game in the mod as soon as I click multiplayer it crashes??

now is stranger
I copied a different shortcut that I'd made a long time ago for the her mod that I sometimes play
but changed the modpath to tofu zombies
and hey presto it worked
tried my shortcut for TZ and rendDX9 problem?????

copied target from old shrtct to TZ shrtct and hey presto it works

so thought I'd make a new shortcut,to test
same way I'd made 100's previously
same way I'd made the previous TZ ones that came up with rendDX9 problem

but it worked this time???
