How to start AIX in windows mode for debugging - A picture tutorial

I used WinZip for this free download - http://download.cnet.com/WinZip/3000-2250_4-10003164.html

7Zip and WinRAR will work for this too

my WinZip is from 1998 but it still does the job - http://www.oldapps.com/winzip.php?old_winzip=10

And notepad++ - free download http://notepad-plus-plus.org/download/v6.5.3.html

Running Windows XP Pro 32 BF2 1.5 AIX2 http://www.aixtended.com/

here we're going to create a new icon that starts AIX in windows mode

first just make a copy of your AIX icon you use to start the game - put it in a temporary folder if you want, it will be dragged onto your desktop when you're finished

in this tutorial I set it to 1024x768

and now rename the icon

drag the new icon to your desktop or wherever you want it

clicking that icon will start AIX in window mode like this

and here's the debug window for when things go down the meat hole
