For some reason I felt compelled to try and replace nearly all the textures for static objects. This is what I've got so far after about 3 days of work. Probably put in another 3 or 4 days of doing this, and move onto something else.








Along with simply being different, they are also x2 as big. So they are a little more detailed. Still have decals, industrial, military, and asian texture sets to edit. And need to do some fixing/adjusting to what I've already done. Likely BF2 doesn't have all that many textures. Probably won't bother doing all of what I want to do with textures before V2 release, but there will at least be something done, to help make V2 more worth getting.

Beautiful! Just a new coat of paint on the statics and it really got rid of the "Vanilla BF2" feel. bigthumb.gif

Nice, always wondered why no-one had ever released some kinda texture pack for the Vanilla BF2 stuff, be nice to see some comparison shots.

I thought about doing that one time, and made it about 30 minutes before I realized that it was lightyears ahead of my skill level. Will be looking forward to this happy.gif
