Hello bfsp team!

Finaly alpha project is released, first of all let me thank all the developers and contributors helping making this possible, without them the mod would never became what it is now!
The first release is as the mod title already says in "alpha" stage, so there might be bugs which still need to be fixed, let us now when you found a bug and post it in the comment section!

Special Weapons, Pickup Kits

You can find the special weapons pickup kits at map predefined locations, like
on the maps mainbase. There are also hidden pickupkits on some maps!

Outstanding work! This mod is tons of fun with 64 bots.

My feedback:
- remove the little american flags on the buggies, they look dumb.
- there's a bug: when you get hit by mg fire even if you're dead dust keeps kicking up around your dead body and equipment.
- needs more maps, although Zatar is fantastic and also divided city.

Congrats on the release Jones, downloading now!!!

Funny i just reinstalled BF2 and AIX2.0 so i could get some ideas how im gonna merge your mod and AIX2.0 with the rest of the amazing stuff made by the community.
But first i need to have some fun with this!!! let the good times roll biggrin.gif

There might be some bugs that are not solved yet, i want to note that divided city 16p layer might crash in coop/sp when capping the mosque flag, still unsolved if someone find the reason you would help us alot guys! biggrin.gif

For anyone experiancing crash while pressing join or menu/kitselection realted crashes download this quick menu client hotfix, others should go fine without it!

Well had an extensive playtest, verdict...love it!!! this is what BF2 shoulda been at release!, Zatar Wetlands really gives u a good feel for the mod and is heaps of fun.
Look forward to seeing what you plan next, until then i will enjoy! biggrin.gif

Very nice! Downloading it now and will give it a go. Will be great to see how my navmesh works in divided city first hand. biggrin.gif

EDIT: Thus far it plays great. Only bug I noticed so far is that the dropped weapons after death have excessive collision noise. Perhaps change their material ID to use something that is silent or alter how they behave on the ground so they don't bounce around to cause the collision noise. It could also be fixed by altering the damage system settings for it.

Just downloaded and played a round of Karkand. Loved the sand storm effect. Had a great time. Gotta try the other maps as well.

Noticed the collision effect on dropped weapons, its nice to fear APCs and Tanks again tho, a bit like the FH2.4 feel for armor, oh god a tank!!! Run!!! lol.
Actually i took the vehicles off the maps and it played awesome, and i loves me vehicles so thats a huge achievement in my book.
Have i said it looks beautiful yet?.

As everybody else said, looks and plays fantastic. The maps are amazing and the cqb is intense, the 3d ironsights and the little details make a huge difference.
Only complaint I have is there aren't enough maps, but I'll add some in for my personal mod (formerly named AIX3, now beta_project).

I'll be looking forward to the next release (here's to hoping there is a next release).
