Basically my animations have become more popular and are apparently better than I thought.
MCR recommended I make a single thread where all animations will be posted, and here it is! I will be working on some animations for the next few weeks specifically for public release including lots of AIX weapons. If you see a WIP video of my animation expect this thread to be updated with its release. Due to formatting and reinstalling half of this will be re-done as none of these will run properly in the BF2 editor For simplicity my current releases will be posted here. http://evidesmc.weebly.com/ If you're having crashing issues and can't fix it, add +fullscreen 0 to your shortcut and post an image of the error in this thread. I will find a solution, make sure you post here and don't PM me so others with the issue can simply read the thread to fix it BF2 Improved Arm rig Before exporting an animation, make sure the ANIMATED set is applied with all objects Unhidden (Use unhide all then apply the set) otherwise it will crash due to the set not being applied on all bones (Some are hidden for ease of the rig) Such as the wrist. I hid them due to their movements being controlled by the sphere and not the object itself, and clicking on them by accident would get annoying. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bjcLtxIhm30 -Removes the need for orientation constraints and gets rid of the constant hassle or changing the weighting, and so on -When linking an object via link constraint the orientation and rotation follows with it as if an orientation constraint was applied anyway -However the ability to rotate the wrists during a constraint is allowed which usually isn't possible under normal circumstances such as how chuc's tutorials teach Comes in 2 versions Normal: Rigged the same as the original setup using upper arm and wrist for the IK Chain http://www.mediafire.com/?fgd10hyv9rqc7qj Special: Having the IK linked to the collar rather than the upper arm, I did this so I was less likely to have the end of the arm so up in the animation and just general increased easiness when animating. (I use this for all my animations) http://www.mediafire.com/?njat741ea2d8ush Whichever you choose, up to you Mk 23 Akimbo (BFSP Link) Kriss: (Now in the megapack) Evidesmc Pack (On my website) Contains: AA12, ACR, AK147, Akimbo M249 SAWS, Akimbo G18s, Akimbo Kiparis, AUG, Barrett 50cal, Deagle, F2000, FNFAL, M4SOPMOD, G36C, Intervention, L86MG, M21EBR, PM63, PP2000, RPD, Scar H, TAR21, UMP45 and Explosive Crossbow. Then you open up a clean scene, go to bf2 > bf2 utilities > skeleton importer and pick that .ske file Then go file merge, and merge the FinalAnimationSetup (assuming you didn't delete it after I released my rig, as my rig doesn't work using this method)* Then go file merge again and import the gun mesh, with correct naming like you would if you were making an animation Make sure the gun mesh's are linked to the torus (REALLY IMPORTANT BEFORE NEXT STEP) Then go bf2 > bf2 utilities > BAF Animation importer and bam, it should all be setup Extra points, setting up IK chains and links etc will stop the movements of the bones to which you applied that to, so editing animations is restricted either to redoing all these movement using the newly make IK chain or only editing the animation using the rotate tool. You can delete all the frames and import a different animation ONLY if it's in the same 'session' as when you made the scene, saving the file and opening later then trying to import a BAF will do nothing. *This step can be skipped if you don't need to anything than just the bones (no arm mesh will be there) Anything missed or any additional information missing? Feel free to reply so I can add it. This post has been edited by MasterChiefRulZ: Oct 31 2012, 07:35 PM

It seems not many people know how to edit an existing animations or even import it just so you can see it in max with the arm rig so I added a quick and brief guide to my post. This is especially useful for if you want to use an existing animation on a new gun and it doesn't quite match, because you can link the new gun to the old gun and then offset it to fit, then export the animation. THAAANKS a lot! -------------------- |

Hey M.Combat i just saw all the weapons for vanilla bf2 i must say that they are all awesome. The dual usp takes the breath away when reloading.I did saw some very small flaws in the pack. The m249's and the pm63 have some small zoom problems and the deagle doesn't have back recoil during zoom shooting.I supose that they are some earlyer work? And you forgot to edit the silenced usp 3p sound.

Maybe check again. It worked for me at 10:00am with ie 7. No luck. For me, the BFSP link is broken, and the temporary one seems to be a link to a completely unrelated file. I was afraid of this. The upload I created was temporary, and when the permanent one was hosted for BFSP I couldn't access the download but I was told it was good. I was hoping it was just a problem on my end but apparently the download is broken. We'll get this resolved, may take some time as the only person who has access to the database (that I know of) is out of contact. Kanuc, could you test that download again to see if it's working? M42 Zwilling, what internet browser do you use? Is anyone else having problems downloading the file from the BFSP link? -------------------- A man falls out of a tenth-story window. I tried Google Chrome too, still no luck. |

The problem is the file name on the server is different than the one in your link.
Your link; "http://www.battlefieldsingleplayer.com/files/bf2/mods/mcr/Mk23Akimbo.rar" Please note: Mk23Akimbo.rar Name of file on server: Mk23 Akimbo.rar See the space? I keep telling folks it's best to use all lowercase and no spaces for files names when your providing them for download. I removed the space. What MCR had in his link was fine "Mk23 Akimbo", but if a space was needed do it like this,"Mk23_Akimbo" (never use a dash "-"). Here is the download link with file name corrected to Mk23Akimbo.rar. Click Here Problem solved, enjoy folks! L8trz Cajunwolf -------------------- |
