Sorry about the removal. I took it down to make some adjustments...and one thing leads to another and....
So, here it is. It's more uniform now and I'm pretty happy with it.

BFMod

Here's a few screens of some of the maps.

Feedback welcome. Thanks Guys.

ph34r.gif To Socom_Ops,

Okay. I tried it and...it was fun. I love (not being sadistic or anything) gunning the Axis down with the MG and nading them. Somehow I (sick as it may sound) get a kick out of watching them go sky high and drop top the ground. A few things that I found that needed fixing - missing textures on crates and caboose(s), AI's go around in circles a few timies before engaging in warfare, and they seem to wait for you to make the first move then they follow (not all the time). Hi-ever, on the plus side, I found the game easy to play. Little if no lag at all. Only lag was on maps that have plenty vehicles (tanks and half-tracks) - I think its Rhodesia... map. Love your reticle ( small green circle). And weapons are nasty great - kills from a distance! Mind if I include it in my site - click here!??

OK, I added textures for the traincart(s). The boxes didn't seem to be missing any. I did make a few adjustments to some of the objects and maps. I'm uploading the mod again. It's just a 7zip file this time, no installer so delete the old mod before extracting this one to the mods folder. I'll update the original post after the upload is complete and then you can put it on your site if you want. Thanks for the input.

BTW - as for the Ai running in circles, never noticed that. I don't play the maps in SP, I run a local coop game with the bots at 64, 10-10 friendly-enemy ratio, max cpu time and the skills at max. Maybe they act different in SP..? dunno.

ph34r.gif To Socom_Ops,

Yep. I played SP and low setting, very low. My CPU is only 2GHz, and my video card is only 128MB, memory 256MB. Setting to AI is at 50%. So...will check out your new mod. Will let you know.

ph34r.gif To Socom_Ops,

Okay. I downloaded the new one and installed it. But I still didn't see much difference. You still have the texture problem on Rhodesia map.

But I love the action! BTW, I posted it (your mod) in my BF42 site news section - click here.

Okay. Let me try again. Maybe it's on my side that has the texture problem. Will let you know.

Well, I'm working on some different variations of weapons and such. A patch is in the near future I think.

I had a devil of a time with the C47. That thing has a fixed flight ceiling...kinda lame because it banks almost as hard as the fighters do and you in the plane nearly sideways and then it crashes so....I tweaked the engines torque values a bit, adjusted the wing lift values some and tweaked the Ai controls a bit and now, it has now issues flying or banking. Worked really nice on Alamein with all the mountains. I also outfitted it with my M19HMG for the Brit version. I also have yet to have a crash in the Essen map with it too. That made me happy.

Another little thing I'm dorking with for the next update...

Just added a new small patch to the main post. It fixes some weapon issues and map issues. Extract to the Mods folder.
