Following these instructions should fix joystick issues with the 1.5 patch.
1. reset all aircraft and helicopter controls to default 2. DO NOT touch "primary" controls. Leave them assigned to your keyboard/mouse. 3. assign joystick settings under "secondary" controls.  I have a SpeedLink 'BlackWidow' flightstick where Axis 2 and 3 do work (throttle and rudder ) but Axis 0 and 1 (pitch and roll ) don't . I'll keep you updated.
