first open bf2/server and client archive .con files in notepad
after everything in them paste these in respectivly

fileManager.mountArchive mods/xpack/Objects_client.zip Objects
fileManager.mountArchive mods/xpack/Common_client.zip Common
fileManager.mountArchive mods/xpack/Menu_client.zip Menu
fileManager.mountArchive mods/xpack/Fonts_client.zip Fonts

fileManager.mountArchive mods/xpack/Objects_server.zip Objects
fileManager.mountArchive mods/xpack/Menu_server.zip Menu
fileManager.mountArchive mods/xpack/Common_server.zip Common

and now you can add weapons to your kits just like vanilla weapons.

*this is relevant to all mods also. just open that mods client and server archive .con files.

if you are going to be using a LOT of sf content then i would suggest just doing this

So the easiest way to effectively use ALL Sf assets in plain old bf2 is to simply copy your bf2 maps to mods/xpack/levels and use the special forces mod exclusively

This way you can play all levels from both mods with any combination of the 5 x SF armies and 3 x bf2 armies AND all weapons and kit loadouts to your liking.

Just change armies in a levels init.con located in the server.zip.
Effectively you could have Seals vs China in Karkand for example if you wanted.
Plus you get to use grapples and ziplines in vanilla maps this way.
Pretty simple to set up too just by copying and pasting levels and editing a kit file or init.con or 2 wink.gif

Easy? You're doing it backwards. You copy the vbf2 kits in Xpak and edit them there. XPak has all vbf2 content loaded and all you have to do is copy the maps form the vbf2 levels folder to the xpak levels folder
