This is happen when play the bf2. When I play the game, I got my knife, ammokit, medikit, and beretta textures become black. Happen too at some vehicles. (Looks cool, huh?)
How I can resolve this prob?

Note: Pictures will be coming.

It's about video graphic.
I notice a black steyr aug and black scope on XM8. I can't see anything from the scope just black things. On helicopter rotors, the rotors looked like a black square that spinning.

Yes, I modded it but I'm not edit any texture or geometry.

One thing again. I'm lower the Texture Filtering. No black texture again on some objects.
Happen after few mins playing games.

sounds like a Driver or settings issue.

Yeah, it's about the settings issue.

Here's the setting that I got from My Documents/Battlefield 2/Profile/0002/Video.con

CODE
VideoSettings.setTerrainQuality 2
VideoSettings.setGeometryQuality 2
VideoSettings.setLightingQuality 2
VideoSettings.setDynamicLightingQuality 2
VideoSettings.setDynamicShadowsQuality 2
VideoSettings.setEffectsQuality 2
VideoSettings.setTextureQuality 2
VideoSettings.setTextureFilteringQuality 1
VideoSettings.setResolution 1024x768@60Hz
VideoSettings.setAntialiasing Off
VideoSettings.setViewDistanceScale 1
VideoSettings.setVideoOptionScheme 3

Yeah, it's about the settings issue.

change the settings in the menu and see if that fixes it.

I lower the texture filtering and looks like the problem is gone.

Are you deleting the shader cache between 'builds'? Multiple shader caches can cause issues such as rainbow or black textures.

Sounds also like only textures with alpha planes are giving you the black weirdness. There is a known bug with dynamic lights being anywhere near a texture with alpha (transparency) giving those black artifacts. There is no fix for it except to not be near a dynamic light as far as I know.
But if its happening even when you are not near dynamic lights, then there is a definite issue with your shaders or graphics drivers.

Do you have an ATI card? I had the same problem on Vanilla BF2 and AIX. For me it was driver related on a 512mb X1950 Pro. I was reticent to roll back my drivers, but i just bought COD4 and had exactly the same problems. I did have the 8.3 CATs installed, but i had to roll back to 7.7..........It was worth it, My IQ and FPS are miles better now and i no longer have black textures on vehicles and weapon loadouts......

So strangly enough bf2 that was once working on my windows 7 machine decided to pull an all black textures thing:

I deleted cahce, i changed videos settings, I tried different mods, I deleted bf2 and reinstalled fresh. I changed drivers.

Still blackness

Annoying thing is I didn't do anything to bf2 or my drivers to trigger this. It just started one day last week.
