For those non-modders that just want to play with bots without a hassle in setting up any files, this is for you.

Its the pirate sp mini-mod with an installer (BFP2sp).

SP game mode is enabled for coop supported maps.

Unzip into your mods folder

The sp/coop supported pirate maps included are EZs bot support for:
Shallow Draft
Storm the Bastion
Shiver me timbers
blue bayou
pelican point

Black Beard's Atol sp support by Pacman

Solomon Showdown is a map by ImTheHeadHunter converted to pirates and conquest sp gamemode by Dnamro.

Stream is a map conversion by Jones

Course of the river is by Spfreak

Here is my idiot question of the day. Is this mod for BFP2 1.0 or 1.2????

EDIT: Alright. Got it on my own. 1.2 was crashing. Found 1.0 in filefront and that works fine. bangin.gif
BTW: Great work everyone. SP is a fantastic addition to this mod. And I was laughin my buttocks off when I saw one of the bots named Captain Morgan!!!!!!!!

Thanks. The mod has not been ported to the 1.2 version of Pirates yet. So, anyone that wants to use it, needs to reinstall version 1.0 of pirates for now.

to the first post as it is not that easy to find the 1.0 version of Pirates. Also, in case anyone wanted to know: if you install BFP2 v1.0 and BFP2SP to your dedicated server it works!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've had a quick look at 1.2 and both the menu and object zips have changed(to what degree I am uncertain, other than throw away pistols for faaster 'reloading'). I've got one map working fine after a fix of the new menu.zip and removing the objects.zip for now. Not sure what you changed in the objects D... might have to leave that dept. in your hands. I'm also not sure if the DEV Team has made any mapping changes that could adversly affect the navMeshes.

Just go into the menu_server.zip and navigate to menu_server.zip/external/flashmenu/gamemodes.con and alter to read:

CODE
swiffHost.addGameMode "gpm_cq" "Conquest"
swiffHost.addGameMode "gpm_coop" "Co-op"


This will add Coop back in as an applicable gamemode in the server setup screen.

You did not get a message that the bfpflagpole object could not be found while loading a map?

Did you delete the 1.0 version of pirates before installing 1.2 like the instructions stated, or just installed 1.2 over 1.0?

I figured out the problem I was having and posted a hotfix at the start of this thread to support Pirates2 version 1.2.
