Hey guys, i hope this is in the right section. but i recently just found that someone has uploaded the A-10 as a seperate add-on to work in the vanilla game.
I was wondering if this guy needed to be granted permission before doing so? because from memory any AIX tweaks/addons needed to use the AIX mod as the base not vBF2

here's the link - http://www.moddb.com/games/battlefield-2/a...erbolt-from-aix
EDIT - I also go by the name SphincterBreeze so that comment on the page is mine

and it reminded me i haven't played your amazing mod in about 2 years and that i need to reinstall it asap tongue.gif

Clive stated long ago that any content can be used by the community with exceptions to Korben's and Sat's stuff. I Can't find the post so I guess he can tell you to confirm this. uhm.gif

yeah MCR is correct - Korben and Satnav didn't want their stuff made freely available, but anything else from AIX can be used anywhere within BF.

it's a bit of a moot point anyway, years ago i found heaps of our stuff available and converted for GTA4, so lack of permission doesn't seem to be a hurdle for most people

No worries smile.gif I was unsure what the terms were with the mod files and wanted to make sure, as I myself wanted to download it but I don't like using stolen content.
Unfortunate how people rip content without permission and seem to not be bothered by it though
