Just switch some files around. Find the same named files from objects_client.zip and replace them. You may want to back up the original files first.

look in C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\mods\bf2\Objects_client.zip\soldiers\Us\Textures for US skins, the mec and ch skins in their relative folders.
make sure you backup the objects_client.zip first. you can rename or add a suffix to the skin name if you want a certain skin in selected maps. if you wanted skins for the Gulf_of_Oman map only then you would need to add a suffix to the end of the skin name, example us_3p_heavy_c.dds you could rename to us_3p_heavy_c_GulfofOman.dds . then open the init.con(extract and uncheck the read only) file in the maps server.zip and look for this part. LevelSettings.CustomTextureSuffix "" else texturemanager.customTextureSuffix "" endIf and rename to LevelSettings.CustomTextureSuffix "GulfofOman" else texturemanager.customTextureSuffix "GulfofOman" endIf |

Nope, they work in any BF2 mod. It's just that a guy on the PR forums made them.
