Finally I've gotten this mod done enough to upload a beta! As before with the beta for version 1, I DO NOT WANT THIS UPLOADED OR REPOSTED ANYWHERE OTHER THAN BFSP!
I know, there are still some minor issues with the HUD on custom vehicles and vehicle spawns on maps, and vehicle handeling could probably be tweaked some too. Asian and industrial textures also have not been edited yet. Other than that, everything should work as far as I know. Which is why I'm uploading this beta, because I can't find everything all on my own. Missing AI templates, textures, objects, and all kinds of other problems can easily be missed. Unlike the first version of this mod, I'm more open to game play suggestions now. I might not care enough to do anything about your idea, but I might like it or could be convinced to use it. Install instructions and other info is in the readme. There is a list of credits in there too for anyone who cares. And if you want pics, you can find those in other threads just fine. But it functions just fine. similarly on the IS3 while driving you can see the top gunner's 50 cal swiveling thru your driver console. however everything else so far has been very awesome. downloaded the mod & had a couple of rounds. looks pretty good ithh. ran into one issue, i think the m16a4 zoom in animation is bugged:

I found this bug as well. Are you running at 1920x1080 like me?

Also, did you give the IS3 to the US side on Eagle's Nest on purpose? Tehehe Ok so the m16....it doesn't mater what screen res you're running, as it's a problem with the anims....which I was sure I took care of already. Bloody iron sights....they're about useless anyway. Can't I do away with them WITHOUT everyone complaining? -------------------- |

Alright, my to-do list is now empty, and other than continuing texture edits* I have nothing left to do. So, I have an updated and hopefully final beta version for you! D/L here
*Which could go on for quite a long time to do everything I want to. I won't get everything I want to do done in V2 anyway, unless I want to delay release for several more months. So now is a good time to stop for now. Everything should be working 100%. No crashes, missing objects, or any other oddities. If you come across something wrong PLEASE post it. If I haven't found it myself by now, it'll likely continue being missed and get into the release. Which would be bad. If you want to LINK to this beta somewhere else, that will be ok, but DO NOT UPLOAD anywhere else. Also please direct people to post their comments/problems to this forum area or thread if you post it somewhere else. If you care to, posting pics or vids would be welcome! I have some one making a release vid already, if they are able to get a problem with their BF2 fixed that is. It would be nice to have some extra pics or even a vid or 2 to tease people with leading up to release. I haven't decided a date yet, but I will say that it'll likely be within a month, unless something happens that delays things of course. -------------------- |

Amazing job!
The stuff I donated you from IDF:FFI is quite fun to use in this mod. Really adds a new and fresh element to DOW, being able to use non-BF2 vehicles. Lastly, where is everyone? Am I the only one paying attention to this thread? -------------------- ![]() |

I noticed that in some vehicles like the t55 and others if you still have the weapons up on the scroll bar just after entering and the scroll some more i get a CTD and in some others i cant scroll at all so no CTD
Also the F4 Phantom seems to handle like a pig also the Bar and FN Fal are now awesome:) |

a pig? is that a good thing or a bad thing? I love the f4! All I know is headhunter needs to make some unguided napalm bombs for the F4, because that is exactly what this bird was design for... Scorching peasants!
