Hi, I started to install FH 2.45 into my Battlefield 1.41 install as I want to play with full SP/Coop support (Full AI commander). I know this should be possible because I've already done it with a 1.5 patch Project Reality release which is has been working amazingly in BF 1.41.

When I got to the FH setup program I got confused and OK'ed it before I remembered that it sets 1.5 patch settings (not 1.41). This has somehow messed up my BF 1.41 install. All my other BF mods now do the usual video problem thing of starting up to a black screen and then CTD'ing to the desktop, except for FH which starts normally. I can't see what the FH set up program has changed. All the "*.con" files in MyDocuments/Battlefield 2 look OK. I seem to remember there's a binary file that I'm supposed to delete which then resets the video set up. Where is that ?

FH 2.45 also gives a server mismatch error, but I'm sure that the client and server are the same version. I suspect what I have to do is replace the FH flash menu with the FH version 2.4 flash menu. This is what got PR (BF2 patch 1.5 release) working.

Anyone know what files would have been altered by the FH 2.45 (Patch 1.5) setup program (resolution and immersive HUD settings) ?

EDIT: WARNING ... I've cleared this up with the FH devs. Running the custom FH exe's with BF 1.41 completely messes everything up. Not FH's fault because I was trying something non-standard here. To repeat THIS IS NOT A PROBLEM WITH FH. I had to reinstall BF2 and will work with FH version 2.4 until I find a work around for FH 2.45 with patch 1.41.
