Include 30+ maps? ph34r.gif Well file size is the main reason. It'd probably end up being almost 2GB then. If not more. Also not much point since a lot of them wouldn't be changed in anyway. People might as well just D/L them separately. Also because I'm going to eventually get around to releasing a map pack of the rest of my maps for this mod.

The rest of the maps are coming, but later.

Ah, cool.

I just played a round. I have to say that the mod is very good; but, the EU/CH/MEC feels lacking compared to the US (in terms of custom guns). Also, could you put some weapon attachments on some of the guns? Having 100 AK-47 (iron sights) on the MEC is kind of boring. Also, put a aimpoint on either the M16A4 or A2 please. And if you are keeping the iron sights on the M16s, take a look, the A2 and A4 have different iron sights in game (the A2 keeps VBF2 iron sights, the A4 has 3D custom iron sights), so change them to be the same.

Oh, and I'll be a fascist and pick at something you will probably ignore (but hey, worth a shot): the map titles, descriptions, images, and CP names. The map titles shouldn't be something like this: super_cool_map, they should just be: Super Cool Map. I haven't taken a look, but often times people are lazy with their map descriptions. The map image should be something universal, look at AIX's, NAW's, PR's, Assault's, and even VBF2's image. CP names, the same complaint as the map names, i.e. do this "Hanger 9001" and not "Hanger_9001".

Unless underscores mean something, which I don't think they do...

The pistols don't fire as fast as you can click, they have a delay. Why is this feature included?

It kind of ruins the pistols as that doesn't work at close range.

All semi-auto weapons have a bit of a delay. Don't remember all the reasons for it. But I figured it made them a bit more interesting to use, and the bots would fire them as if they were full-auto weapons. That was the only way to get them to slow down to a more human like rate of fire. Does it make the pistols a bit less deadly? Sure, but also pistols aren't supposed to be as deadly as an assault rifle, or anything else really. Does it ruin them? I don't think so, I can still use em just fine. As long as I'm not surrounded by a bunch of enemies, or have to kill something far away that is. Like I said, makes em more interesting, more of a challenge for when I get bored of hosing everything down with lead from a LMG or whatever.

i just play dogs of war and i must say its a blast.
I have few suggestion though.

the sound. the sound is too loud theres even cracking sound. its like the sound is over volume. plus its too high pitch its annoying when all you heard is guns shooting. i would suggest to use lower volume sound, lower pitch sound and overall lower gun sound.

I do know I made the fireing sounds louder than they were in Vanilla bf2 and often other mods, because I found those to be too quiet to be "proper" gunfire sounds. I haven't had problems with audio crackling though, or things being too high pitched.

I wonder, has anyone else had his problem too?

Try playing with 32 bots in 16 sized map. its too loud. theres nothing you can hear except gun sound.
