I originally made a post for this on bfmods, but admins take a long time to publish the post, so I thought I would post this here

So I downloaded a custom bf42 map, just a simple 2v2 zooks only map, but it uses custom geometry, and when you load up the map, the geometry is missing and it isnt there. I checked the files in the map rfa, and checked the map in Battlecraft, and they seem to be in the right places, but its not working in the map. I am no expert with custom objects in bf42, so could someone please help me with this?

I would post the download link for the map, but i'm not sure if custom links are allowed here. If someone could give me some suggestions to try, I would gladly appreciate it wink.gif

A good example of custom meshes in a map is e.g. 'Battle of Britain', which you could compare to your map. The meshes reside in a 'StandardMesh' folder in the map root and the geometries.con of the object can access it there. Also do a check if the necessary textures are there in a folder called 'texture' and for each *.sm file there needs to be a corresponding *.rs file with the texture assignments.
