Downloaded the extended version. Why don't you make an addedum to the BF42 BF40K mod from ModDB and call it BF40K Extended? http://www.moddb.com/games/battlefield-194...0k-client-files. Also, I posted an update on the mod here at BFSP - http://www.battlefieldsingleplayer.com/?p=modpage&g=1. UPDATE: D, it isn't working. I installed the main BF40K, then installed your mod extended and it wouldn't do anything. I have to re-install the main BF40K again. ANOTHER UPDATE: I just realized that the directory was wrong that BF40K shortcut is linked to. It was BF40k (with a small "k") and I had it linked to BF40K (with a capital "K"). And I had to use the download from ModDB to make the BF40K main mod work. I installed your extended version, but it didn't work. Extended is no longer needed. Delete the old version and install mine. -------------------- No, my Avatar is not my dog.

I didn't read the ReadMe text. Anyways, I re-installed your mod, deleted the old version, and tried the mod but still not working. -------------------- |

New version updated on the first post.
This is a beta version. It's not a self-installer anymore. PoomPoom could not get this new version to work on his system. I would appreciate posts letting me know who it works for and who it doesn't. -------------------- No, my Avatar is not my dog.

Hello D, I installed the mod into the Origin bf1942 game. The mod does not show the mod levels. Ingame it only shows the original bf1942 levels. When playing them it's like playing the original bf1942 levels. I don't see the BF40k mod levels in Conquest or Coop.

So, in your mods folder, you have BF40K folder?
Something is surely wrong with the install, because you have the BF40k menu background, but you should only see BF40k maps displayed in the map list. -------------------- No, my Avatar is not my dog.

Well, that was the problem. When you unzip the file you get BF40k_v8d and that's what went into the mods folder. I renamed it to BF40k and now it's showing the maps correctly. Only checked out one coop map and it worked with no crash.
Edit: I tried all the coop maps and they all played without a crash. -------------------- ![]() |

Hmmm... I don't know why it doesn't work for me. By the way, I found my disk for BF42 stashed away in the basement. I might try it on BF42 disk. -------------------- |
