Many thanks! The Carpathian map was made and tested on BF2 1.50 and it works fine if you have powerful computer. Unfortunately, the overgrowth is too dense, as I said, I will try to reduce number of trees sometime.

Hmm i play tested this one last sunday in coop[64] - as you write too much overgrowth here (too much lags), some spawnpoints are wrong (not in nawmesh), some areas are not playable for Bot vehicles (missing navmesh (see Construct CP ect.pp)).


So please reduce the overgrowth to an lower one, remove some vehicle (civilan/truck) trash at the playground, spread the spawn points a bit (bots/vehicles) and we can do make an good playable one.

Over all - nice one.

Hi Frosty98B! I really enjoyed playing your map Dherynia! I like the long sightlines and well-placed cover around the map. It has a sense of flow which I'm always looking for in my maps, and I'm definitely going to be playing it some more.

I also tried your map Carpathian Mountains, but there is too much overgrowth; my game lagged as I moved around or zoomed. Do you think you could reduce the amount of trees? The map looks very nice and I don't think missing a few trees here and there will be too noticeable.

I'm looking forward to whatever you're going to come up with next!

Hi bluehawk, thank You very much for the kind words, positive feedback always gives me a new motivation. smile.gif

Unfortunately, You're not the only one whose gameplay on the Carpathian Mountains was badly affected by the enormous amount of the trees - no worries, though, it's on my to-fix list just after the Dherynia's terrain textures! biggrin.gif

I'm currently trying to get few new maps to work, so hopefuly they're here soon.
