Hey guys,
I already posted this in the FH2 forums, but maybe some of you here have additional info on this or perhaps know a way to improve this. This is my post from FH2 forums: (with minor changes, some questions have been answered) The battles in Bf2 Coop or SP often don't create a real atmosphere because the bots, especially in FH2, don't talk that much. I already added the commander orders on com for "attack here" or "defend here" in the fh2/ai/radiomessages file, but apart from that or some "Charge" or "Deeeeeuuuutschland" calls at the beginning of a round (and only if there are vehicles) there's not much communication. I also added the Medic call in that file but an Fh2 Bot never uses that call ingame, just like the "get in" or "get out" command. Furthermore FH2 adds multiple new possabilites of battlechatter, but Bots never use them ("Stay here", "Attacking", "Go for the flag" etc). So is there a way to increase battlechatter or even add these additional commands/calls to the game (Bots using them)? Hope someone knows an answer to this. Thx in advance! - end of post Now I searched and edited lots of files under menu_server.zip/hud/hudsetup/communication(/comms)but with no effect. The bots never stop when you call for a transport like they do in vanilla bf2. The bots show no reaction on "get in" or "get out". They also never say "thanks" or "roger that". Sometimes it's just too quiet. So if anybody of you is a modder, knows python, the link of the comm files to the AI, how the usage of communication is controled, or can give me a hint where to look for myself(I can also do some python stuff), it would be a great help and improvement to the SP/Coop experience in FH2. |
