Man...... how many clicks does it take to get to the center of a .......map?

Anyone who has ever done extensive Server-Side modding has probably started their server so many times they could do it sleeping.

This little trick will save you thousands of clicks and tons of time.

2: Rename the shortcut to the title of the map you want to auto-start.

3: Right-click the short cut and select "Properties".

4: With the "Shortcut" tab selected, locate the "Target" field.

5: Enter this format but replace the bold italic letters with your own information.

"C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 1942\BF1942.exe" +game DesertCombat +map BFE_TestingMap +restart 1 +hostServer 1

6: Click "OK" at the bottom of the properties window and test it out by double clicking the new shortcut icon.

I like to have one of these for each map I am working on. In fact I have a whole system of shortcuts that allows me to move around the uncompressed rfa structure with as few clicks as possible.
